Thibaut Courtois is set to move to Real Madrid after Madrid showed big interest for the Chelsea goalkeeper.
Real Madrid have made quite an effort to hand Manchester United stopper, David De Gea a ticket to Spain but all efforts seem to be in vain; hence the move for Chelsea’s goalkeeper.
While that rocks, Spanish outlet Diario Gol have reported that Courtois could be keen on the move with his family already in Madrid.
Sources have started reporting that the Courtois would not mind in signing a contract that would take him back to Spain where he previously played when on loan with Atletico.
And while Cheslea fans wonder at the possibility, worthy to note is that The Blues stopper is likely to move to Los Blancos in order to unite with his family.
The Belgian is looking for a house and would like a reunion in the capital in the future.
In another report, Kepa Arrizabalaga is also being tracked by Real and a deal is likely to fall through soon.
Word is that Real is just hours or days away from a deal with Arrizabalaga.
Courtois has been in good form for Chelsea this season, keeping 11 clean sheets in the Premier League.
Blues boss Antonio Conte has made it clear he wants the Belgian to stay at Stamford Bridge.
“Courtois has a contract, also for next season, with the club,” the Italian explained.
“We are talking about a fantastic goalkeeper, a really good guy, and I’m happy to work with him.
I don’t know about this issue (surrounding Courtois’ family living in Spain).”
