Alhaji Muhyi Magaji, the Chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, was reported to have revealed that they have so far in 2016 recovered N150M.
He said the in a press briefing after his appearance before the Kano State House of Assembly Committee on Security to defend the commission’s 2017 budget.
Magaji, revealed that a greater number of all cases brought before the commission is corruption-related. Having solved them all, it arise in the arrest of about 2000 persons who were taken to courts for trials.
“For the first time in this country, we are fully ready to investigate a serving commissioner on corruption case.” He said.
Concluding, he said the commission will make all efforts relentlessly to handle fairly all cases brought before their table.
